VENUE FEATURE: deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum

Established in 1950, deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum is the largest park of its kind in New England encompassing 30 acres, 20 miles northwest of Boston. Providing a constantly changing landscape of large-scale, outdoor, modern and contemporary sculpture and site-specific installations.  Inside, the Museum features a robust slate of rotating exhibitions and innovative interpretive programming. The Museum offers a variety of locations to host your event. The Dewey Family Gallery and Sculpture Park Terrace combines an indoor and outdoor space that overlooks picturesque flint pond and the sculpture park. This combined space can accommodate up to 140 guests with dinner and dancing, 170 for just dinner, and 200 for a standing reception. The Rappaport Roof Terrace, located on the 6^th floor of the museum with expansive views of Flint Pond and the sculpture park is a great location for a cocktail reception. It can accommodate up to 100 guests for evening functions and can be rented with other spaces within the museum. The DeNormandie Library on the 4^th floor is the perfect spot for a small corporate meeting or retreat accommodating up to 25 guests. Lastly, tented events can be held right in the Sculpture Park surrounded by more than 60 works of art. This truly creates a one-of-a-kind backdrop for your occasion.

VENUE FEATURE: THE WHITE ROOM AT CROMPTON COLLECTIVE

The White Room at Crompton Collective is a spacious 5,000 sq. ft. space in a historic, beautifully renovated building located in Worcester's vibrant Canal District. The space can accommodate up to 200 guests providing an ideal setting for weddings, social events, photoshoots, corporate events and more! With a sophisticated industrial feel inside and a beautiful brick patio outside, Crompton Collective’s White Room provides a unique and memorable location for any event!

Weddings: Ceremonies take place in a beautiful lush green courtyard with cocktails to follow on the brick patio. Guests then enter the white room for dinner and dancing, a large open space that lends itself to many unique styles and themes. Included in your rental are fun amentities like a rustic white bar, vintage wood chairs and couches, unique wood tables to be used for cake and cards, and string lighting.

Five Bridge Inn is a hidden gem in Southern New England. The Inn sits on 80 acres in a nine hundred acre preserve with miles of trails through pastures, woodlands, and bogs. Weddings

Five Bridge Inn provides a stunning backdrop for your New England wedding. The venue is completely yours for the big celebration. Your event booking includes accommodations for 14 in beautifully decorated guest rooms, a bridal suite, a hair salon, and a make-up room. Your guests will enjoy a delicious complimentary breakfast and after they can enjoy the fitness center, play a game of tennis, or go for a swim and relax poolside.

The Inn has 3 onsite ceremony locations- a wedding chapel, Greek pergola, and a birch arbor on the lawn. Following the ceremony, guests will head to the poolside patio and pavilion to enjoy cocktails and hors d' oeuvres. Dinner and dancing take place in the four season tent with built in flooring that has both heating and air conditioning for your guest’s comfort. An after party at the fire-pit with your friends and family will cap off your celebration. A Five Bridge Inn wedding will ensure the most amazing memories of a lifetime.

The inn offers several locations to accommodate lunch or dinner meetings, annual company outings, receptions, bar/bat mitzvahs, picnics, fundraisers, concerts and holiday parties! A new barn being built on the property is ideal for parties in the winter months. It is scheduled to be opened on November , 2017 and it will be an ideal venue for holiday parties and more intimate celebrations.  The property is equipped with enough space for parking, staging, lawn games, trail discovery, fitness center, tennis courts and more!

Michelle & John's Mechanics Hall Wedding

   The evening started off with a ceremony on stage under a custom floral arch.  Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour complete with a raw bar with stone crabs from the Florida Keys, a ceviche station, and a grand antipasto presentation with imported salamis, local cheeses, olives, bruschetta’s and roasted nuts. The delicious food didn't stop there as a 4-course dinner awaited them in the great hall. 

Michelle and John's wedding style was bold and elegant with a black, silver and dark purple color pallette. We used a beautiful black and silver herringbone table linen and a black water glass for that extra pop! That, combined with the striking tall centerpieces dangling with crystals created the wow factor.

No evening would be complete without something sweet! Our team designed an elaborate dessert bar with assorted sweets and cake accompanied by an espresso bar from Black Tie Espresso.

FEATURED VENUE: THE GARDENS AT UNCANOONUC MOUNTAIN

Tucked away just outside the quaint, New England village of Goffstown, New Hampshire, you will find The Gardens at Uncanoonuc Mountain nestled halfway up the southern slope of North Uncanoonuc Mountain. The property covers 15 acres, with extensive gardens carefully tended over its nearly 40 year history. Tower Hill Botanic Garden Photo Shoot

We had the honor of participating in a styled photo shoot at Tower Hill Botanic Garden in Boylston MA. The designers at JD Designs wanted to capture two distinctly different looks for the shoot- Great Gatsby and Rustic Romance. The Great Gatsby theme reflected upscale luxury through gold sparkle and black linens paired with ivory and gold china, crystal votives, and statement floral designs. The second design with farmhouse tables adorned with vintage china, wildflowers, lace, and pillar candles created an earthy, organic rustic feel.

For each of these designs we provided a menu to compliment the look. For Great Gatsby our bakery designed a black and white wedding cake with gold and pearl accents. Our chefs created a composed plate of twin lamb chops, fried potato cup with garlic mashed potatoes, silver dollar mushrooms and a Japanese eggplant garnish for the culinary component.

The rustic romance design was complimented with a lace and floral cake and our ever popular short ribs with farm fresh root vegetables, seasonal asparagus and corn pudding. 

Tower Hill Botanic Garden is one of those very versatile venues that can accommodate a vareity of different looks from Great Gatsby to rustic and everything in-between.

Tying the Knot at Tower Hill

Planning a wedding is a mix of endless details, decisions, and stressful moments. Recently, we held our "Tying the Knot at Tower Hill" event to offer brides an opportunity to learn useful wedding planning tips in a fun and relaxed setting to help them begin the process of planning their dream wedding. With assistance from Brittni and Shauna at Tower Hill Botanic Gardens and Dave from Allegro Photography, this event turned out to be a big success.

Lindsey and Dave's Fall Wedding at The Five Bridge Inn

It was a beautiful fall day in October, when Lindsey and Dave said "I do" under the white gazebo at the Five Bridge Inn. This was an extra special wedding for us to be a part of, as Lindsey is one of our own talented Event Managers. We couldn't be more excited to share her wedding with you.

Lindsey and Dave wanted a casual elegant feel to their wedding that also involved hanging out by a fire with friends and family at the end of the celebration (a past time they frequently enjoy). The Five Bridge Inn couldn’t have been a more perfect venue for them.  Between the sprawling lawns, poolside cocktail hour, stunning white cloth tent, and of course the fire pit, the inn created the perfect backdrop for their fall inspired wedding. They were even able to spend the night before the wedding celebrating their daughter Mckenna's birthday outside at the inn.

The color palette of purples, oranges, greens, and pops of yellow were incorporated throughout many details of the wedding.  The centerpiece design incorporated wood stumps from Lindsey's grandmother's backyard. Between the wood accents, moss and bunches of kale a natural elegant feel was created.

Lindsey, naturally with her love for food being in the catering industry, wanted her guests to enjoy a wide range of tastes and flavors. Dinner was served on stations with small plates. This allowed the guests to enjoy a range of food from grilled cheese and soup, short ribs atop savory corn pudding, to a chef active butternut squash ravioli station with a maple brown butter sauce.

Following dinner, guests enjoyed cake and an array of cookies paired with milk. The cookie bar was a joint effort from family and friends, who spent days before the wedding preparing their favorite cookie recipes. There were so many personal details incorporated into the wedding that made it truly unique to Lindsey and Dave. We couldn't be happier to have been a part of the celebration - Wishing them both a lifetime of happiness (from the Peppers team!).

FEATURED EVENT VENUE: THE PIERCE HOUSE

The Pierce House, located in the heart of Lincoln, was built in 1900. Crafted in the Georgian-Revival style, the house and thirty surrounding acres of woodlands and rolling lawns originally included vegetable gardens, an orchard, and a carriage house. In 1964, the Pierce family left the house and extensive property to the Town of Lincoln. Since that time, this elegant estate has provided a unique and historic location for weddings, meetings, corporate and social events.

The Pierce House provides both indoor and outdoor options for all kind of special occasions. Inside the historic estate they can accommodate up to 75 guests, while outside under the tent on the beautifully manicured lawn they can accommodate events up to 200.  

 Weddings at the Pierce House are picturesque. With two on-site ceremony sites, near the pond under an old willow tree or in the colorful gardens, you will find the perfect backdrop to say I do. The estate house features a large wrap around porch, perfect for cocktail hour, where guests can look out over rolling lawns and charming gardens. The dinner reception can take place inside the estate for a smaller intimate wedding or outside under the large white tent for events over 80.
